OPTRON Ltd. was founded in 1992, as a multi-profile telecommunication company.

Now the company is the largest private telecommunication company in Latvia, possessing the biggest in Riga technologically unique specialized underground cable duct with more than 300 kilometers of the fiber-optical cables laid out and a high-speed duplicated telecommunication platform for data transmission. On the basis of these resources OPTRON provides full range of services of data transmission, access to Internet, a telephony, leased lines, virtual private networks (VPN), Wi-Fi access and offers specialized project solutions to meet the specific customer requirements. All the services are provided in strict compliance with SLA, securing quality, reliability and in-time reaction on customer's requests. In 2012 the company deployed own Data Center, designed and built in accordance withTIA-942 Standard. The DC is the first one in Latvia fully match the requirements of BICSI 002 CLASS F3 Standard. The DC offers co-location services and provides physical and virtual IT resources to ensure high performance and quality for customer’s information systems, provides various solutions for data back-up and recovery according to customer's requirements.

On the basis of OPTRON Ltd. has been created a group of companies, focused on certain kinds of activities:

The first three companies are engaged in development of complex solutions (audit, design, construction, support, management and control) in the area of providing IT, telecommunication services and data storage services. These solutions ensure increase of business efficiency and expenses optimization from telecommunication and IT services use. The OPTRON Ltd. and OPTRON Data Solutions Ltd. are the telecommunication operators as well. They provide telecommunication and DC services for the business customers.

Neodata Ltd. is the system integrator and the project performer in the area of low-current systems and networks construction for different purposes, including the telecommunication network backbone. The staff of the company, having a long-term experience of network construction (both internal, and external) and modern technologies use, carry out all cycle of works including audit of existing systems (if it is necessary), execution of project documentation, works and issue of all necessary executive documentation. The company provides high-quality service support on supervision of networks and systems to big state and private customers.

Neodata Ltd. has own production division, manufacturing optical connecting cords (patchcords, pigtails), based on factory technology of seal of fiber. Process of manufacturing comes to the end with complete control of optical parameters and issue of the passport on each product.
